An Anniversary...

... and a coming attraction

Greetings. As I mentioned, last week, Americana is on a brief summer hiatus. But I did want to take a moment to note that next week marks the first anniversary of this little experiment, which I launched as a vehicle for publishing reviews, essays, and snippets of a work in progress that may or may not ultimately evolve into a book. I’ve been grateful for the companionship of this little community, and thank you for taking the time to read my work. I’ll be glad for however long it lasts. Happy Summer! —Jim
