Season's Greetings at the junction of 2024 and 2025

As we head into the climax of the holiday season, I’ll be taking a break for a couple of weeks to recharge. (I reckon whatever routine you may have to peruse this newsletter is also likely to be suspended—a good thing.) I happen to have had a few rough weeks and welcome the prospect of some repose. And I have some hope for better days ahead, as this selfie indicates. A new chapter in my family story is about to begin.
