In the 1940s the American Library Association rented space on a large billboard in Times Square. The message was "Send me a man who reads". A prankster somehow accessed the sign and made an edit- adding a period after the word "man" and a question mark after the word "reads". Ah, the power of punctuation. When my oldest got her drivers license I was surprised at how useful that was for me. I had courier service to return library books (often overdue) to the Greenwich library.
